My hubby and I are looking to replace our seats from our spyder.from what im told the speedster seats are more comfey,our seats are stock and lean back to far and are very hard,If anyone cant point me in the right direction that would be great....thanks Jamie

The "Comfort Seats" used in the Speedsters wont give you the lateral support of the stock Beck Spyder seat..... You may find your self sliding around a bit.... I believe some people have used Miata seats..... Check around before committing..... Check with Carey Hines (Special Editions) and see what he reccomends....
I really like the leather seats in my Vintage Spyder, they are very comfortable.
While looking consider loosening rear bolts and insert a piece of 3/4 oak wood to level or tilt the track a bit. It will change the back slant. Wonder if they make memory foam to fit your seats? You could have them restuffed with different density foam or add 1/2 or so of foam. Consider adding seat heaters at same time.
Although original Spyder seats LOOK like Speedster seats, they are slightly different and the Speedster seats are too wide for the car.
I assume you have the older style stock Beck seats (lots of ribs stitched down the bolsters, no slots in the back). If so, most of them actually have more padding than the original style seats do...
We do space our seats up in the rear (as suggested by Wolfgang) to level them out. I just use steel spacers and not oak, but either would do.
