LOOKING FOR USED SPEEDSTER BUILT BEFORE 1989

I am Laurent I live in south of France. I am looking for a SPEEDSTER matching with the points below (important)

- the kit MUST have been manufactured before 1989. The EU registration administration will ask me a PROOF for this like an original invoice, a factory built date certification, a manufacturer certificate or any equivalent document. If not I will not be able to buy the car and register it.

- if you are selling a speedster in this category i will be happy to give careful attention to your offer

- it can be a Intermeccanica, a CMC or any other nice replica BUILT before 1989

- An Intermeccanica before 1979 is a plus

- The registration make, type or date has no importance...only the manufacturing date

- A black paint, 5 bolts disks and wheels, leather bucket seats, will be appreciated but any other combination will be considered

- No wide bodies

- I bought 4 cars from the US so i am used to deal with international payment, car pick up anywhere in the US, shipping, customs, etc. I will take care of all of this with no problem or work for you

- Price around 25000usd depending on condition, engine, options, etc.

Thanks Wolfgang. Yes i contacted the owner, Jake. He is a very nice guy and is car is cool. I would have bought immediately at that price but as mentioned above i need the original tags on the body (often removed when resprayed over years) and the original invoice or manufacturer certificate

Thanks to all the persons who contacted me and who tried to help. We can see a little bit more clearly now : ONLY AN OFFICIAL DOCUMENT SIGNED BY THE ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER (CMC, IM, etc. ATTESTING THAT THE CAR NUMBER XXX WAS BUILT MONTH/YEAR (if year before 1989) CAN WORK. ANY OTHER DOCUMENT LIKE TITLES? LETTERS FROM ANYONE ELSE THAN THE MANUFACTURER WILL NOT WORK.

I saw some IM Spyders built in Santa Ana had a tag with a number and a date on the door jam. If your speedster still has it please contact me...

So if someone owns a Speedster for sale that can be in the situation above please let me know
