Looking to purchase this car -- Any tips?

If your a skilled DIY person you may be okay, but if your going to have to farm out the work you might be looking at a lot of $$$$$ after purchase.  Engine, trans, paint/bodywork, interior, wheels, tires, brakes, etc adds up fast.  Good luck.

Be advised.....    The car appears to be a Perry or similar type....   They are rear engined, and have a tail high attitude...  The tail might possibly come down with torsion / swing arm adjustment, but the handling will not equal a stock Beck or Vintage Spyder with out tons of work... Just a thought.

Now may be a good time to familiarize yourself with the requirements of registering a car in CA using the Specialty Construction or SB100 registration.  There is lots of info on this site as well as a few of the Cobra replica sites.  It's all doable, and well worth it, since it gives you a legal, smog-free vehicle for the life of the car.
