I believe my steering column to be from a 1971 beetle.
When I push up or down on the blinker handle the entire housing moves.
Before I tear into this (car is still in the shop for other things, valve adjustment, leaking rear passenger axle seal, wiper repair, new rear shocks, front wheel balancing etc.), what is the correct process to tighten it back down?
