I've had my Vintage Motorsports Speedster less than a month. I'm going to give everyone a complete review once I get her broken in. To remind everyone its a Meissen blue, red interior, 2332cc. IRS. 3.44 R&P. So far its love, this engine pulls, I've had no problems at all just a lot of fun. Next week its going in for the valve adjust and oil change, I've kept the revs down when I could I'm still breaking her in. More later. BTW when its at Greg's I'm adding a stock front sway bar and a full sized spare. Cheers to all.Happy Hollidays.

Glad to hear it. I’m waiting on a 2332 / 3.44 from Greg so I can’t wait to read your full review. Specifically I’d like hear about acceleration and at what speeds do you typically shift from 1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd, and 3rd to 4th. Not intending to drag race, just trying to get a feel for this engine / trans combo.
wardog,
This car has the getup and go. I will review the gear combo I have when I can use the full rev range. This engine is a torque monster you may not need 1st gear at all
Thanks. What is the break in procedure?
For me just keeping the revs down and varied. I believe there is break in oil in it now. The engine will need adjustment after 300 to 500 miles. Those miles will come up fast, trust me
Each day my opinion changes. I thought I would not like the exhaust system but now I think it’s the way to go and it looks sexy too. Greg mods an A1 Sidewinder, he gets the tailpipes lengthened. It looks great, I first though it would be too loud for me but it grows on you. I’m I a break in period too.
