I'm guessing he removed to sell it OFF EBAY ie not having to pay the EBAY seller fee.

I could say the same thing about my first wife. She was a looker but she was extremely high maintainance. 2 years later I put her on Craigslist.

He actually took the car off eBay to give a number of interested buyers a chance to see the car in person.
$35K for a tube frame IM roadster with a/c, power windows,$55,000 build sheet, and 8,500 miles on it?
Unless it is currently sitting in the BOTTOM of Sag Harbor, for heavens sake this is a decent "no waiting" deal for someone.
Oh, and the color is perfect.
