Just got into replacing all my ball joints today.  When I sent a picture of my spindles once I was considered a member of the "crappy ball joint" club and that got me thinking.  That and the fact that the car was pulling to the right something fierce.....

In any case, I've included two pictures of the torsion arms removed with the underneath shown.  Notice the orientation of the notches in the bottom of the joint?  They are not the same on both with respect to the shock mount. One seems to be rotated a little more than the other. I can't find any clear marks on the arm itself and am wondering what is the correct setup/angle to set the new ones tomorrow. Any ideas and photos would help.

Thanks, Frank

IIrc, those notches are locating marks- to be oriented front and back? I'm really searching far back into the cobwebs for this one. Frank, yours don't look that far apart so it may not make a difference (unless 1 is worn badly). Compare the upper and then lower arms, and then look at the upper and lower tubes in the beam; if it's still pulling badly with the new ball joints and the alignment is right, something has to be bent.

PS- There it is; Wofgang beat me to it. Good pics!
