Lower Engine Tin

That looks like standard T1 tin to me. If you'r running a T1 engine, it should have those fitted or cooling will suffer

I suggest you fit all the tins for proper cooling, no exceptions... you can find extensive discussion on this subject here on the forum and comments from many... jJ

Maybe I should have rephrased the question to: anyone using these with an A-1 merged exhaust?
I had used the super cool lower tin, (type 3 style) but have heard negative comments regarding these.
I've also read that certain aftermarket exhaust systems get in the way of the oem T1 lower tin.

My T-1 "sidwinder" system didn't quite clear the left side lower tin at the rear just before the curve to the collector; the #4 primary header had to be slightly modified with a short splice.

This was probably due to the primary tube size - 1 3/4"; a smaller diameter primary tube would probably have fit without mods.
