Lowered front shocks for my VS, which ones? | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

I have a VS lowered on stock ball joint spindles and will be going to lowered oil shocks in the front. Several sites offer them and I'd like some advise on other owner's experiences and which brands work well (ie. Empi, CIP1, or others). Any help appreciated.

Contact CIP-1, Empi, etc. and ask who manufactures their lowered shocks.... There are not that many companies making these rather specialized units.... Just a thought.

For the time being, I'm running the white EMPI ones. I picked 'em up pretty cheap from a member on here.

Nothing special about 'em. I imagine anything in that configuration will work. I reached out to Viking about some of their adjustable shocks. Waiting to hear back.
