At the very start there is .2 mile of go real slow construction area. On the crest there was no gravel on the road. For a few miles past the ski resorts there were some rocks in the road with 2 sweeper crews clearing them. Nothing active or blocking the road. I ran it today Monday and was thrilled to see it was open all the way to Wrightwood.
What a great day playing in the mountains!!! 130 miles of curves!!
Barkley and I had a blast, thanks to all who came.

I hope everyone made it home safe and sound. I almost got home safe, but I somehow turned my Ludicrous speed switch backwards into full invisible cloaking mode. Works great too, she kept telling me she didn't see me at all!

Hi Mike,
You should have gone with us today!! It was a fun time for all!

You know most accidents happen near home where some folks aren't paying attention. 4 way stop with cars waiting in 3 of the 4 streets. When it was my turn I pulled out and this Lincoln pulled out too, I hit my horn and stopped. While looking right at me she drove through the intersection hitting me and pushing my Speedster around. Horn, crunching, breaking glass and she still completed her turn as if I wasn't there. She told me my car was invisible! She told her LAPD husband too! LOL, but sucks big time!

Bill,

My condolences about the car, that's a damn shame. Thankfully though no one was hurt (including Barkley). Between the biker dumping his bike near Newcomb's, rocks I drove over that nearly hit the toyota spyder behind me (I will share the video with you), Gerd's encounter with those bikers and your fender bender I think all of us need to go out and buy a lotto ticket since we made it! Never a dull moment.

Rebecca and I appreciate you and everyone else that made it out- made for a great Sunday cruise.

What irony that you and I were just talking about that pimp 3rd brake light you have- maybe you should mount them all around your car so people can "see you". ;)

Mr. Bill - once again, you've mapped out an awesome route for our mountain cruise. Great weather, cool cars, spectacular views, fun group to hang with. Glad to hear that you & Barkley didn't get hurt by that IDIOT driver. Also, that was pretty crazy during lunch at Newcomb's to be watching that chopper lower that medic for the injured biker, wow!

Thanks for putting this cruise together!

Seems like a lot of action for a day ride...boy I missed a good one.
"Crash Webster" only you could cause more damage to a lincoln than your own speedster...Kirk builds a pretty sturdy ride....

I'm almost ready to be able to have a fun day without feeling guilty about not unpacking boxes, or organizing the storage locker, which by the way now houses "El Diablo"

Oh, by the way, here are a few pic's of my latest daily driver...
