Lug Bolts Not Long Enough

I purchased front Porsche Pattern Disc Brakes. I have 944 Phone Dial rims. The Lug Bolts are not long enough. Does anone know where I can get longer bolts? Or, does anyone have a trick of the trade that will work to fix the issue?

The porsche 914 came with almost 2" long (38mm) lug bolts with the alloy wheels (914-361-315-01-OEM -- ouch $20 each!). Or you could use longer studs and the 911 syle lug nuts (they come longer to accommodate wheel spacers). See ebay item 4608941125.

I just installed longer studs so I could mount spacers under my Fuchs in the rear of my IM. I would suggest that you use the 52mm length if you are not running spacers, the 57mm is longer but the threaded portion is shorter. Of course I am assuming that the wheel thicknes Fuchs / phone dial is about the same.

You want at least ten turns on the wheel nuts.

I would also order a nut or two to help with the installation.

Why are you using the wheel spacers?

The spacers are just for fun. I thought I'd see how close to the fender I can get. I may have to do a little sanding on the inner lip.
