Luggage rack Wanted!!

I ahve an original Leitz rack sitting in my garage. It does some minor pitting in the chrome and should be re-chrome if you want it to look like new. I ahve never installed it and was going to hang on to it for my new IM next year. However, I know I won't be using it, so I could sell it if you are interested.
I will sell it to you for what I originally paid for it. These things are pretty hard to come by. $300.

I have an aftermarket one for sale. It is the one that VS sells. It is in pristine condition and no scratches or blemishes. It was on the car for only about a month after I replaced it with a "Reutter" one. Make me a reasonable offer before I put on EBAY.

I too am looking for luggage rack for my CMC (ha, 90% completed) Spdstr. I have seen several pictures that show a rack that appears larger than the single vent trunk lid. I prefer the smaller rack. Any idea which are the oversized ones so I can avoid them. From pictures at VS site - believe that is the one that I want.

Just give Kirk a call he has them at the shop I was over there two weeks ago.

Ahhhh, free enterprise at work. The Leitz rack on eBay closed out at over $800 smackerzzz. So, that makes the price on mine a typical holiday sale (in some eyes & wallets) at half off!

Nice piece of Porsche 356 luggage now showing at $1400+. Leather and seemingly near pristine... My socks and shorts should have it so good whilst on the road!

Guys in the build stage there appears to be a nice full tonneau up for grabbs. Black and if I understand the copy, tan flannel maybe, on the underside?

VS Rack Sold!

BTW, the smaller rack is the Leitz and the larger is the Reutter. The Leitz was originally designed for the lines of coupe but it fits all. The Reutter was designed to fit all of the models. The Leitz is more expensive and unfortunately, I do not know why. I have one of each :^) which I bought for a mere $100 and $75.00 each. I had to restored them but they sure look nice.

Anyone have a VS luggage rack for sale? Must be in excellent condition and prefer on east coast. Contact off list.

The Leitz is a touch more stylish, while still stout of purpose. The Reutter will carry Rick's ladyfriend Helga, his EastGerman wrestling Fruelin. The Reutter rack actually looks nicer with Helga strapped on board.

PS My Leitz will be on eBay next week, so anyone looking for a deal now better hop to it...I'm hoping there's 'another one out there' willing to go 600-800 buckzzz! Yow and how's about some original luggage too...it is now up to $1775!

I picked up an old Leitz on the Bay awhile ago and sent for replacement mounting bolts as it only had 3 original ones. Anyone have some close-up photos of the mounting. I still need to get some nuts, but I can do that on the way home from work tonight. I just can't picture in my mind how this is going to shake out. Thanks in advance.
