Just got my VS luggage rack, to me it sits too high on the decklid. Anyone try cutting down the legs an inch or so for a better low look ?

Alan, once you get it installed it shouldn't sit that high.. I think mine looks very cool, now you just need a set of Dustys hand made straps and your in!

Looking at the rack again last night, I wondered if the reduced rack height with a case on it & closer to the engine grill would possibly effect the engine cooling..left side of the brain said no, right side said yes...I'll go with lowering it and post the results. ~Alan
