There are new reproduction Lietz luggage racks made. Here's one on ebay and Sierra Madre seems to have same for $50 more. I'd give Henry a shout as he may have technique for mounting safely to his IM engine lid.

Reutter (maker of original Speedster) made a hammertone painted one. Used ones generally need repainting (they aren't chrome) or better yet powder coating.
Be sure to contact Dusty (Johnson?) for quality leather luggage straps. Is he still in Colorado?

I got a repo Lietz off ebay when I got my luggage rack. The fit was no problem. I offered the seller $225 and he took the offer. I can't remember who the seller was. I'm sure you know you need a mounting bracket that Henry makes or possibly he intalled one during the build.
Chris, I had Henry install the mounting bracket like Dan mentioned but I have yet to buy the Lietz rack. Let us know if you do buy it.
