Luggage Rack Straps

I need pictures and measurements of leather luggage strap set for a Lietz luggage rack. I know there are two 45" long vertical straps and one 54" long horizontal strap from the catalogue descriptions. I need to know the width and how they are made. It

Don't waste your time having someone make them for you. Dusty Johnson who is a member of this site and owns both real and replica Speedsters has been making them for us for years. Had a nice long chat with Dusty today. Really a super guy from what I can tell. I wanted a set of the luggage straps and his site was not interacting well with PayPal. Sounds like has has had, and has an amazing assortment of sportscars. Hope to meet him in person some day, and the rest of you as well. I have not booked yet, but fully expect to be at Pismo this year.

Like the rest of us on this site, Dusty is definitely a car guy. His garage is quite the showcase for his eclectic collection.

I can send you the details. Give me a day or so to get out in the garage. I'm not sure if it will be cheaper to have a shoemaker make yours until you purchase a good set of buckles, leather, labor, etc. but it might be worth a shot. A couple of years I had a cobbler make a set off doorstop straps so it can be done.

I ordered hood straps from Dusty yesterday and he and the LMS (lovely miss Sharon, his wife) are doing well. He has sold all his Ferraris and now has all Porsches, including his Vintage. His 62 coupe won the Colorado Porsche show last year. They are planning to move back to Arizona.
