lugggage rack, stone guards

A neighbor has some stone guards (NOT wire mesh) and a luggage rack from an original Speedster. The rack doesn't look like the Leitz or Reutter. It is simpler. The stoneguards are OK but need serious polishing. The luggage rack is pitted and missing part of the bracket.
I am interested in buying these items but have no way to know what a fair price is. Any suggestions.

Most likely the rack is an Amco. Flat design which follows the lines of the engine lid. Bottom part has a bar that sticks up to hold the luggage in place. I have one that I can snap a photo of.
$50.00 is fair if it needs refinishing and is missing the standoffs.
It'll cost you about $100.00 to sandblast and powder coat.
You can buy reproduction headlight grills for $100-125. It'll cost close to that to have them re-chromed.

I've already had it refinished to match my car.
I was lucky enough to have a friend who didn't need it.

speaking of stone gaurds, can the aftermarkwet ones be put on over the head light lens. bill

Terry: Thanks for the reply. The rack is completely flat and has one bar across the bottom. It sounds like the Amco. It needs to be re-chromed or powder-coated. Lots of pitting. I would be interested in seeing a photo of yours if you have the time.
