Magnus Walker Wheels

Are you thinking of putting them on a Speedster?  There is a Speedster (the Sema Speedster from 5? years ago) with the M.W. wheels and I liked it-

Don't look at the interior, frunk or engine compartment too closely, as the guy completely lost his way.

Saw a set of these on a 911 last Saturday. They looked great.

Everybody is entitled to my opinion, and I've gone on record (in 2015, and against the grain of the community) as saying they look like "flower power" wheels that should be on a gen 1 "New Beetle".

They don't really light my fire, either. There's a visual tribute to Fuchs and they don't look bad, but they're not quite retro and not quite modern to my eye.

Uh, at Club Autosport, these are currently fetching $16,000 the set. I think I'd save a few bucks and settle for some more modest Rudges.

I’m with you. FWIW, I think the whole Magnus Walker/Rod Emory thing is waaaay overplayed.

I like them on certian paint schemes.  But not for 4k.  Here is a German company that makes quality replica wheels and they are affordable.

Al...That car has my very first set of wind wings.  I had my red Speedster down at Kirk's  (Vintage Motorcars now)  and this guy bought them right off my car for $200.00 !  The hinges were a prototype and later I completely re-did them to what they are today.  They were made with red acrylic to match my red "Rhonda".......Bruce

@Marty Grzynkowicz- no pic's showing.  I did follow the link, and they do look very nice.  Do you know how much they weigh?

@aircooled-  When that Speedster first surfaced I remember you mentioning they were your wings, Bruce.  I love the look of that car until you get close enough to see the interior...

Marty those might tempt me to go with Fuchs.  But think I got to have wide 5s particularly since I’m doing outlaw.

@550 Phil I have their Alfa GTA version.  They come with TUV certification.

Are they aluminum?  Assuming that’s in Euros. Very reasonable price.

Phil, talk to Matt. he is an importer for Maxilite wheels. They are 100@% aluminum.

Alas, the day did not end well.

I've heard that nuts sag as you get older, but losing them is another story...

@ALB mine are 13 or 14 lbs.  I am not sure about the Fuchs.
