These are the only cast magnesium wheels Porsche ever offered for the 911 and 914-6 in the alloy 5-lug mounting pattern; all of Porsche factory race cars ran magnesium wheels. They are 5.5"x15" and weigh 9.9 lbs. each - reduce unsprung and total vehicle weight, improve acceleration and braking.
I have a set of five "virginal" gas burners back from Weidman Wheel (Porsche wheel restorers for over 25 years); they were checked out and refinished in the original silver painted color. These are getting harder to find every year, not to mention in excellent condition.
I decided to use a set of Alex Bivens wide-five 10 lb. aluminum wheels on my new Speedster for "the original look", so if any of you want the gas burners for $1,750 plus UPS let me know else they go to auction on Ebay. A set of four in so-so condition sold about six months ago on Ebay for $1,500 plus shipping.
