The Dream Cruise has over a million people lined up along a 16 mile stretch of Woodward Avenue from Detroit to Pontiac to see special cars.
I got insurance on Thursday and registration on Friday and took my Speedster to the Dream Cruise on Saturday.
I took all local roads to the place where I was meeting other club members. It took almost 2 hours to get there. Soon after I left home I hit a rabbit.
My car was on display with those of other club members, about 20 total. I stayed for about 5 hours. Then I heard of storm warnings and I have no top yet. My daughter lives near where we were so I put my car in her garage and drove her car home.
I just finished picking it up today. There were storms in the area today too but I only encountered a few sprinkles mid trip and some wet roads at the end.
Driving home I frequently got questions when I stopped for lights.
Now I have to take care of all the loose ends.
