It does NOT look like a Vintage car. The interior is unlike any VS I've ever seen. But, is it a Beck? Cary Hines, who frequents these forums, might know.
If it's a Beck OR a Vintage car, I'm betting Beck.

Do VS cars have the round plug to allow you to pull the rear torsion bars? This ones got 'em.

The interior finish is from Beck. Its hard to see if the shift-linkage tube is round (VW) or square (tube-frame). The body looks like it's out of the Vintage mold though. I wonder if it was a half-breed. Bought as Vintage kit, finished with Beck parts. That's a toughy.

I just couldn't get over the same car in two auctions. One in Boulder Co and one in CA. I thought I was losin' it for a minute. One ends tomorrow and the other same one ends in 4 days. I'm so confused....where's my beer!! glug glug. Ahhhhh, I feel much better now.

Check out the flat caps on the 4 lug wheels with the Beck logo. Its the same car I just sold.

Yup, it's a Beck. The second auction is my dealer in Boulder, and the pictures are directly from his site. The first listing is ?????

I went back and read the first listing. This guy is selling a silver/red (I would assume Vintage) but shows pictures of our silver/blue (Beck). He does say "the photos are representative"... I guess that makes it alright to steal pictures from our sites. Unfortunately, it happens all the time.
Last year a company in Mexico had tons of picture of their new Spyder on their website. I saved all of the pictures, thinking "boy these look TOO familiar". Sure enough, zoom in on the dash and hubcaps, Beck crests all around! Funny, that same site had a bunch of Bruce Emory's custom coupe pictures listed as their new coupe replica!

I think Frankie is getting ready to make a 230K bid on it... he is low balling it.

I wonder if Frankie is interested in some authentic 914 guages...I seem to have a few extra sets...and for that handsome, talented young actor....$999.00
