I'm working with a person to make me new seat covers for both my speedsters. After I have mine done I was wondering if others may want them too. A friend is sewing them and I thought I may toss it out here. I will be saving a lot over what others get for them. No need to get serious till you see how mine turn out. The patterns will be kept. But post if you are interested.

Yes, these are for the original Speedster-style buckets. Not the cut down 914s or the thicker, later models. The little buckets with two holes in the back rest. Mine are CMC, but I have looked at the Fiberfab and I think they are laid up off the same buck.

We are a little ahead of ourselves, let's see mine. I'm making four for both my speedsters. We can make a newspaper pattern to double check before we cut and sew. I looked at buying leather too. Found a really good deal on a 40 sq. ft and greater black hide. I think it was $120, and I'd have to have UPS ship it from about 35 miles away. I'm sure you can find one and ship it. She does have a leather machine, but prefers the vinyl. I went with the top of the line marine vinyl. It was about 30% higher thant he standard, but even at that I spent less than $45 on the vinyl and expect to get all four out of it.
I've started installing the first one. And, I am very encouraged. I will post photos late this week. Hey, I'm slow guys.

On red, sure post the sample, or send me a small piece. I could probably buy you the matching color here and save you the shipping of the material. I will be true to our spirit, and I've recently spent enough time in the fabric shops to know a well stocked store has so many nearly identical vinyls that I was finding 3 or 5 that honestly, any one would have been as good as the next one. However, if you prefer, WHEN YOU SEE MINE and we agree it works, you can just send me the vinyl from Spain. I know nothing about shipping to Spain, but assume that DSL has a ground shipping method that is reasonable.

Let's look at mine in a week or so and decide.
