I was at the Great Canadian VW show this morning and had the pleasure of meeting Mango and seeing his car in person; pictures do not come close to doing it justice. It is one great looking car! And he seems like a nice guy too. I also scored a brand new gas tank for my Im for $50.

"older Intermeccanica Speedster (still under wraps in the garage) a pic wouldn't show much, what with all the junk piled on it..."

thanks man   Good to catch up with you too.

I love that show.  soooo many nice cars. i talked cars so much my throat was sore.

props to Henry for picking up two awards!  His cars are so awesome.  so clean.  so so clean.  plus he's super friendly.

unfortunately i had an appointment that required me to leave right before judging (not saying i would have picked up any awards as the competition was STIFF!).

on the plus side - it was for a feature photo-shoot

also hooked up with three speedster owners who didn't know about this site.

overall - wicked car day.  very wicked car day.

I was going to go, but changed my mind at the last minute.  I wish I'd gone.

I didn't like the Coqutlam venue, and don't like the Langley venue much better.  Hopefully, one day the organizers will be able to book the Mission raceway.  Lots of room and, of course, there's the drag strip.
