all seem to be in the neighborhood of $300-$400 and look like quality CNC parts by reputable companies
The Fibersteel pedal group is a COMPLETE modular kit including actuator cylinder and its mounting brackets, hydraulic fluid lines, Morse throttle control cable, cut out seals and gaskets, hemi-type spherical bearings, accelerator pedal and it all matches. Just to name a few of what your getting for the money. No running around gathering what you need or ordering from a parts supplier at the last minute. My philosophy is: You get what you pay for!

The assembly is a replication of the original Porsche 550 set-up.

At 71 years young and living in the mountains of North Carolina sort of puts a kink in doing my own work and parts search. Merlot is being repaired by Corey now is the time for me to upgrade the Speedy. Hoping that the hydraulic clutch will make life easier on my new left knee implant. I especially like the firewall/floor mounting of this kit.

The hit and run sideswipe repair was more extensive than the Hagerty adjusters had allowed, but this has been worked out to cover all the cost. Been waiting since November. The wait time was OK because I had the knee replacement. Spring is coming to the N.C. mountains!

I'm a retired design engineering design manager and have literally touch most of the people's lives on the SOC. I have found that equipment components that really do an A-1 job always cost a bit more. The U.S.A. manufacturing concerns in the mid-60s through 80s realized this simple fact. Then came the bean-counter CEO's. No longer was engineering necessary, but considered totally useless. I will not purchase Sears products because of this type of so-called engineering! The lawn mowers and tractors are designed and tested to last only 450 hours. I know from experience!

Let's look at the reasons I bought a Beck. Tubular frame (round x- section), Brazilian Fiberglass considered to be no. 1 in the World! I believe that the construction of the Beck saved my life in the high speed crash I was in in October.

I will do it my way!

I was the engineering guy in charge of the LT line. I got "beat-up for 3 years until I went back to engineering real "stuff". All of the designs are hanger-ons because of making 1200 or more units a day. My recommendation is to buy a Cub Cadet hydrostatic "O" turn radius lawn tractor with the two separate drives...one on each rear wheel. Puts the Old Roper stuff to shame. Know you know! The pedal installation that I have chosen is mounted against the front boot firewall. The reservoirs are on the opposite side of the wall and will not be seen. Also, the pedals are adjustable with the accelerator pedal mounted on the same mounting bracket. Everything is in the same plane. You did an excellent job on your set-up. Will you be at Carlisle?

Merlot was smashed up the first night of the Blue Ridge Run. She is being completely repaired by Special Edition's Carey Hines. He is adding a lot of new accessories for me. The pedal assembly is one of the new major changes. Hoping that the left knee will not take a beating from the hydraulic clutch. Carey might be talked into photographing the installation...are you out there, Carey?

Also, I'm a stickler for matching components and symmetry. That and I'm from the Old School of Engineering.
