Bob this is what everyone is talking about.
Woohoo - got mine inscribed by the bard himself at Carlise.
Thanks, Joe!
Guys -- I just stumbled across this thread. Man. Thank you so much. This makes my night. This is my SEG for tomorrow. You guys are the best.
You can still get an inscribed copy from me for the SOC / Carlisle price of $12 which includes mailing it to you. It'll be a week or so cuz I need to reorder some from the publisher. Let me know.
Thanks again. Cory's cover makes it.
Max
Max I want a copy dialog me so we can take care of the payment
On its way, Tab. Look for it on Tuesday. Thanks!
Bollux, Max. Your WRITING makes it. We've still got you on the nightstand, right next to whatever iteration of Game of Thrones Jeni's working on and my own little pile of books.
I appreciate that, Cory, but there's enough room here for each of us to have our way. Thanks for liking what I do, buddy. You know that cuts both ways. Means a lot.
Ah, the day before father's day. Got the lawn mowed and now lounging on the patio sipping a cool Malibu Rum and coke, reading from Max's book. Occasionally glancing up at the incoming westward clouds building up promising the cool afternoon rain. Temperatures hitting 90 degrees already and it's only June, it's August and September that Florida turns on all burners and A/C repairmen put down payments on new Mercedes. Fourteen days into hurricane season and it's all quiet in the Atlantic, the only blow expected is the insurance premium.
Very nice little sketch, Nolan. Hell, you coulda been my ghost writer all this time!
Glad you're enjoying that raffle jug. Don't feed the ants!

You guys are nuts. Happy Father's Day.
Thanks a lot! Now I have Ghost Riders in the Sky stuck in my head...'spose it could be worse.
Max, the book was great, BTW
You're right, Al. It could be worse. I've got the Man from Nantucket stuck in mine.
Thanks. Happy you enjoyed it.
(slightly off track) Hey Ed and Art, this was always my favorite version of the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmpvpypXKf0
