Bill....That was the best money I've spent in a long time. I just love using the car as my shade while I'm sitting under it drinking a pint of cold swill, contemplating my next fun little project.

James....110"is what I used. Also I'm happy I used the epoxy-in type concrete inserts.

I’ve got a BendPak lift. It’s an American company, but like most everything else… the lifts are made in China 

That’s where the steel is.  

Of the top 40 steel producers in the world, only two, Nucor and US Steel, are American companies.  Most of the old steel mills in America have been mothballed and are cost prohibitive to start up again - Besides, the Chinese have been buying up all of the iron ore reserves world wide for way over a decade.

Trump’s steel and aluminum tarifs only benefit a small handful of US companies - His close friends, of course.

2/3’ds of the World’s top 40 steel producers are Chinese firms.

BendPak ?   Hmmmm !  Seems like another name should have been used or US steel ?

BendPak is old company (45 years) that started building pipe bending machines.  I had job one summer at US Steel in Fairless Hills, PA - made big bucks for college student (union job) but heat on the rolling mill line was a real killer.  Supplied a lot of hot rolled steel to the VW Westmoreland PA plant for VW Rabbits!

Alan...When I first got my car I wanted to sleep under it just cuz I thought it was so cool! No Beer was needed ! Sometimes I still just go out there to look at it !...Bruce
