What can I say, Every E-mail I sent out came back a solid YES!. We will be picking up more members along the way. Some members in Huntington Beach as well as Mission Viejo. I will post a list of member who are going to join the caravan to Coronado Bay in the upcoming days .. Thanks everyone this will make a great birthday weekend for me.
Cheers!
Guys the more the merrier, I will bring a Gal Pal with me; this will be a fun day to tour the Del, have a great margarita and to spend some QT with the CARS and the ladies. I was wondering if we should make some type of name badges or some type of T-shirt. If you guys think this would be a good idea I will look into it.
As the caravan grows I will add names to this list.
Others are going to meet us at the Del Coronado but will not be caravaning down.

Wow take a look at the event list this is going to be a car show!

This Weekend was Postcard weather in Sunny So. Cal.....
Took MR 356 for a Tune-up Run...Redondo Beach to Murietta
Hot Springs to see Daughter away at College (91 to the 15 south)
Return trip through the Canyons by Lake Elsinor (94 Ortega hiway)
About 150-175 miles at least, I'm guessing....Never saw another speedster...A few Porsche's waved at me...I snubbed them, I really
don't care for Porsche owners much....The're way to cool for me....
Major clean-up when I arrived Back in Redondo....Bugs Galore...
Bra is useless...I don't use it....
Run to Coronado should be great.....Can't wait.....
Vince,
Most Porsche owners are civil, when it is 1 on 1, however, when in a group, you are correct, "way too Cool". We'll probably get 3-4 days of this weather and then there will be more swarms of bugs than you can imagine. Just the other day, I hit a swarm of bees, glad I wasn't in the Spyder or on a Motorcycle. Hope to see you in Coronado.
John
Vince your date is right! The 04 was for the year. I hope everyone will mark this Date on the calender and make the run. I will sitdown later this week and make the tour map and E-mail it off to everyone on the list. If anyone is a member to the 356 registry please post this event to that site for us the more cars the better. Who's got first round!!!

If everyone who is participating is interested, the San Diego Auto Museum is very close by. Why do I mention this? Well, because till May 24th, the museum is hosting a Porsche history tour. They have about 20 Porsche vehicles ranging from 1953-present. I walked the museum last Sunday and it was enjoyeable.
Just got my 356 running and Knotts was my first trip. It was great to see so many cars at once. I will be attending Coronado but since I live in Encinitas I will have to figure out how to latch onto the convoy as it passes my neighborhood. Perhaps a cell phone call would work. My freind Joe has a VS and he will probably be joining the group.

Bert and I were discussing a good place to meet the Northern Crowd, and so far Del Mar could work out well, we could use cell phone contact then merge on the freeway with the convoy. BTW, Dave did you ever talk to the manager of the Del and ask if we could take over the front parking area? If so, that would be one heck of a photo-op and certainly draw a crowd for the Del.
John
