Mechanic?

I live in Arcadia, CA, near Pasadena CA. I bought a Speedster about 5 months ago and I'm reaching the 1000 mile mark. From reading the forums I need an oil change and a tune up. Any recommendations out there as to where to go? Any advise would be appreciated. Also, is there anything else I need to do? Thanks in advance!

You also need a transaxle oil change at the 600 mile mark if it's been rebuilt. And the proverbial valve adjustment is always standard when you change your oil.

Duke, where you been Bra.. I see that you have your tub running we last spoke when I was STILL looking! LOL.. I finally got mine in Feb 06.. have not looked back yet! Duke, there are alot of guys that will wrench on your tub but you gotta fine one that YOU trust and respect. Your best bet is to call some locals and ask them questions about your specific car, if they sound sharp then check them out. Others may not know what you're talking about.. stay away from those.. But it's mostly a "Gut" thing bro.. good luck and email me some time.. BTW check out the Whittier car show coming up in August, lets hook-up and see that sweet tub of yours.. Did you dump it after all?
