Ron,
I'm out in Folsom and have been looking for a mechanic also.
Terry K. from Auburn is very well connected with mechanics in our area and has given me a couple names. What are you looking to fix?

Do a search above for Terry Nuckels. He lived in Grass Valley for quite a while and may know of a shop to refer to you! He's very helpful with that kind of stuff.
Nothing fancy, just normal maintenance stuff. Valves, brakes, oil change etc...
And thanks for Terry's info Musbjim.
Ron, I do all the maintenance myself but get help on the harder stuff from Tony Murjano in Auburn. He's on this site (Anthony).
You have Bugformance on Fulton, I think. They do repairs in the back of the store.
Mitch Toll (Sacto Mitch), in Fair Oaks, might have someone he could recommend but I know he uses Tony as well.
Ron, Anthony has been doing all of my service for the past year, including installing a new engine and tranny. He's very experienced and extremely competent, but his schedule is usually jammed. Try contacting him here.
A little closer to home, I've heard good things about Der Wagon Shop, on Greenback in Orangevale, but I've never had them do any work.

Thanks for all the responses, very helpful. Terry and Mitch, I bought Steve Lehr's (Granite Bay) speedster from him and he told me to introduce myself to you two helpful guys. Thanks. I'll probably give you a call at some point to chat.
Hopefully you'll join us in June for the west coast SOC gathering in SLO, Ron. Great place to meet fellow enthusiasts.
It also seems that we have enough of us in the area to have an event or two right here!
There is getting to be quite of few of us here in Fresno and Clovis so going north wouldn't be too much of a drive.
Maybe we should plan another Tour d 'Hoe?
Maybe we should plan another Tour d 'Hoe?
I probably shouldn't ask but what was the Tour d "Hoe??
Terry---has a date been set for the SLO event yet?
Ron, you got a great looking car. Steve did a great job with the details.
Terry, after 16 months my Speedster is finally able to keep up with group rides other than the local bicycle club's. Just need to get the ride height set so I can consistently clear manhole covers.
We three should probably get together before the Big Rain starts.
Jack - The West Coast Cruise in SLO is typically the first weekend of June. Last couple of years has been June 6-7-8.
Koda - Tour d'Hoe is an event Terry organizes and we cruise around Lake Tahoe. I forget, is id 'cruise' or 'terrorize'? Great fun!
Let me know if you all are getting together soon. I would Cruz over the hill for a meet.
Thanks, Jim.
