I can Google and find one ,was hoping someone had a referral to one they like and trust.
I want to have my speedster have a once over before I go for any distance.

Best to tell us exactly where you're located. Could be the difference between a simple drive, tow, or transport.

If a drive to Thousand Oaks is something you could do, I recommend George at “Spot 44”. He owns a few old VW air cooled cars (among other things) and has worked on speedsters - replicas and genuine.
Look up Walter at United Auto in North Hollywood on Lankershim Blvd. He only does aircoolwd VW.
@Speedster Alli i have a guy in simi valley near L.A. AVE & TAPO ST.....his name is pat at mike willard automotive 4485 runway st suite B 93063 1 818 8882448....he is a long time hotrod guy who has seen and done it all...he did some very custom stuff for my car and will check your car from stem to stern for all issues to be concerned about....tell him black porsche guy jim sent ya
