Just wanted to again say a public thanks for the red lenses, Mel.
I'm sending the two amber and red ones back, with the addition of a third amber and red guy that'll make a match for your darker single lens. I have also located and will be sending the bracket for the tire strap.

For anybody else whom I may have forgotten to say thanks to, thanks for all the pieces-parts. With the exception of short axles and the Ghia turn signal lens/bezel combos, I now have everything I need to get the Hoopty on the road in good trim.

Cory, that tire strap was thanks enough! I sent you the red lenses in hopes of helping out with Project Hoopty. I'm glad to see your progress moving along.

As for the bracket and lenses....please pass them along to someone that can put them to good use. I would rather see them on a Speedy, than sit in a box in my garage.

I found some matching brackets at a local hardware store, and currently fabbing up some "door-stop" straps. The search is on for a camel/beige color leather straps.

Cheers - Mel
Tim, they went out today, FedEx ground. Should be there by Friday in a buff-colored padded envelope. There is a matching set in there, with an extra that's a little faded.
Hope they work out for you.

Anyone got an extra pair of tail light lens seals?

Mel, how are you making out with the door-stop hardware project? I got some ten-ounce hide to make your straps with.
