I want to wish a sincere Merry Christmas to everyone who frequents this website. I truly enjoy reading all the facts, fictions and funny stuff that is posted here daily. I'm happy to be a part of it - and I am genuinely looking forward to meeting many of you in person this Spring in Anaheim at Knotts Berry Farm.
The attached pic shows what can happen when you are overcome by the holiday spirit. (At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Mele Kalikimaka John! That's definitely in the spirit of the Holiday! I always thought Santa should have a Speedster instead of a Sleigh!

I say go for the ride with the lights hooked up.. I mean, nobody looks at a Speedster without something to grab their attention, LOL! I saw some Soccer Mom in her SUV pass the other night with multi-colored-twinklers hanging like rows of beads in the back cargo area.... I was in her three-quarter rear blind spot wondering how the vision was through her rear view mirror.

That RR Logo is pefect. Can't wait for April. Thanks for all that you and Bruce are doing. Shared mail with Paul today and it seems both of us are busy getting our rides ready for the gathering. MY wife was asking about last minute Christmas stocking stuffer gifts last night and I went through the following list.. none of which fits in the stocking;

new Cocoa Mats
New Nardi Knob with Crest Logo (well that fits in the stocking!)
New Magna-Flows for the CSP system
New speakers, and custom speakers in rear bench vertical side.
Install right mirror, and coachwerks badge.
Install trimmed hump mat and 356 shift boot (now where did I see that?)
New Tires
Chrome the Bumper Guards
and the list goes on and on and on...

Can't Wait!

Jim
One of the benefits of owning a diamond "in-the-rough" is that I'm not shy about bringing SPEDZTR out to play... no matter the weather.

My wife and kids were kind enough to brave the cold up at 5,000' in the California Sierra for a Christmas Card pic or two.

The car drove great..Oil temps were perfect! Not much power loss at altitude... But I regret trading those heater boxes for J-pipes and I've GOT to rectify the side curtain issue.
My current skinny tires acted more like sled runners than rolling rubber.
Happy Holidays to all of you Tubsters out there!!
Hi all,

First things first, Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year when the top never goes up.

John Leader and myself are rounding things into place for the Knotts meet and will be publishing more information as it becomes available.
By early Feb, 04 we should have all the pieces in place so can announce this to you in entirety. This we know for sure, Knotts will be held on April 24-25, 2004 at the Famous Knotts Berry Farm parking complex in Buena Park, Ca. This is close to Disney Land so if the right seater doesn't want to spend two days absorbing Speedsters and Spyders, then you can get her a cab over to Disney! There are a great number of Hotels/motels in in immediate vicinity and we will pick one as meet central. We will be looking at parking lot security and room cost. We also plan on a Saturday night shindig and possibly an informal Friday night tire kicking session in the parking lot and probably inside for liquid refreshments! For you driving in for the meet we are going to try and arrange the meet hotel/motel to furnish a water hose and buckets for getting rid of the trail dust.

Merry Christmas, Bruce Williams

John and West Coast Bruce,

Glad to see I'm not the only one on this site on Christmas morning.

There is a good chance I'll be in Oakley, Ca around the end of April for the birth of our grandson ....just might make a side trip down to see you guys - attend Carlisle AND Knotts in the same year, who says there isn't a Santa! Any Speedster owners around the Oakley area?

Happy holidays!!!

East Coast Bruce
East Coast Bruce,

Where is Oakley, Ca? Is that where they make the sun glasses? LOL.

Be good to see you show up at the left coast meet, good to get the east coast money circulating out here! It is starting to generate a lot of interest and John and myself will be working to get a program together that will keep us all entertained.

For myself being up and about on Christmas day, I had to tear myself away from my new erector set in order to check the SOC site. I was trying to make a Speedster and doesn't look like an angular Speedster is going to cut it!
