I thought they came as a kit? I have not seen anyone here build one, or maybe I wasn't looking close enough? COuld be my bad.. You might want to check the makers label and VS, they sell guards too. Decent price too! Unless you're dead set on making them yourselves...

Looks like the instructions were passed around by quite a few people. If anyone has the instructions, I would sure like a copy also.

Dale Fieber made his own and they came out great. He made them for his headlights and for his driving lights. He recently moved to Washington State and has not posted since his move. Check out his pictures. The third from last (I think) pic. shows them well. You might try sending him a p-mail and see if he responds.

The good news is that I have the instruction file that Bruce sent me years ago.

The bad news is that it's on my laptop down in the Bay Area.

I like shambly's stone guards. It is unique and adds a bit of flare to the front. Look at https://www.speedsterowners.com/files/thmblist.asp?sf=/shambly. This works for my car, I am going for that Euro Look.

I got my instructions. Thanks a lot. This now becomes the next big project. I am trying to adapt the instructions to allow the glass to stay in the headlight assembly. I will keep everyone posted on my progress.

I got mine too. I am going to start my fabrication after paint. Oh wait, cuttinging wire, and glueing. Not much fabrication to it :)
