Finally got down to one of the last items of the build; the windshield. This was originally factory fitted, the stn stl strip across the cowl was pre-installed. The windshield and frame pieces were then removed for shipping. When I unwrapped the glass, I found that the (tinted safetyglass) windshield was made by CITSA GLASS in Mexico. Unfortunately, it does not carry a DOT marking. Guess I'll have to find another windshield
Reviewing old posts on this site, I gather that glass from any of the builders (Vintage, Beck, JPS, etc) will probably be the same dimensions & curvature. Is this true?
I also remember that Bruce Young was intending to order several windshields from Pilkington (but didn't); and that Rocky gave the Pilkington P/N as FCW 0045.
Does anyone have a spare that they might want to sell?

Carry Hinds...If I drove out from NJ to your shop, could I then compare the size/shape of my existing glass to the one you stock? What would be the cost of a new windshield?
