I think they'll get a kick out of it......

I've been a member of the TYP356 NE club for years and was accepted without conditions, other than a love for 356 cars and driving them.

I was one of only three replicas in the club when I joined, and now, 10 years later, there are 8-10 out of a total number of 140 or so cars. Mostly those folks are buying Speedsters or Cabriolet replicas (only one or two 550's) and get them as "daily drivers", saving their steel cars for special events and shows (when you have a $180+K Speedster, you can do that).

BTW: Believe it or not, the TYP356 NE club was started because the founders were getting tired of the PCA's 911 folks looking down on the 356 folks as not having "real" Porsches (i.e. 6-cylinder, rather than just 4). So the TYP356 guys all started wearing these T-shirts to PCA events:

"Yes, Porsche made cars after 1965....

But, WHO CARES?"
