Midwest get together?

Anyone here interested in a get togethther in the midwest? Say Springfield MO or Eureka Springs Arkansas? Eureka has lots of beutiful scenery and curvy roads. and its a nice drive for Texas ,KC and St. Louis cars. If there is enough interest, I would be will to try to put something together....

I got married in Euruka Springs.My wife and I love that place. I haven't driven my speedster 270 miles at once (540 round trip)so I do not know if my car will make it.Weather is an other issue.I do not have side windows.I love the idea of meeting some of you guys. If everything turns out OK,(work,weather)I am in.

Yes, that would be a great idea. We would like to get together, anyplace would be fine....

I have a couple guys here local that would like to join the crowd as well. Would Springfield be better? I can probably arrange garage space here in case of rain. I was thinking May since most of us don't have heaters.

Be careful, May is Carlisle..........you may lose a couple of us to the big show. I will come if my work/carlisle/wedding/wife schedule will allow it.

Let's do it!! Why should the "coasts" have all the fun? The National Street Rod Assoc. has their very big show in Springfield, Mo. May 27,28, 29 and motels/hotels are a premium so you might want to steer clear of that weekend. I would vote for May 21,22. Pretty country getting to Springfield.

May 20th through the 22nd is the Carlisle event, perhaps it might be best to select another date as to not coincide with Carlisle?

Good to see you posting here again, it's been a while. I read where you won the "Dare to be Different" award with your '47 Citroen streetrod at the Rod & Custom Mid-Western Nationals in Kansas City in September. How about a few photos?
