I'd be willing to bet both are made in China, but that shouldn't be a problem if they're going in a mild street motor.

We all like to shop for the best deal. Shopping on the internet can be fun and wise for most items. Car parts it's not. I had a customer that went and bought a MAP from rock auto and then comes in for me to tell him his part is junk and the Bosch replacement is this $$$$$ along with my labor to fix it right. Now the time you spent emailing back and forth along with repackaging the items and going to a shipper to send it back you could have done something more constructive. Aircooled.net may have costs more but you would have gotten the right parts. One also has to be careful that most of the internet sites and shops don't stock many parts. They order them as needed. I myself don't sit on many engine related parts because every customer always wants something slightly different.
I order from aircooled.net even if the price is a bit higher because I can usually be confident in the quality of the parts and because of John's support of the air cooled community.
