Thanks for sharing those cool pics! Looks another great cruise through some awesome scenery!
Terry Nuckels posted:Yeah, it was a great day. Not too hot, no breakdowns, nice driving conditions and the roads were smooth and relatively free of traffic. Always fun to share some of my favorite roads. We saw a few of the P cars in Tahoe as they celebrated the PCA Treffen in Squaw Valley.
Doing 200+ miles in an open car on a warm, sunny day can take a bit out of you and I salute my fellow enthusiasts who joined Andie and I for this one day tour. Stephen "Badspd", with his badass 912, Ron & Karen, Mike, Paul, Ryan, Noel and, of course, Tebs! Thanks for participating in this year's Mini Tour d'Hoe. We'll do the weekend version next year, okay?
Those roads, Terry! I'll be forever grateful for having the opportunity to drive them in my clown-car twice. I loved CA1, but Tahoe/Yosemite, and the national forest were, are and always will be my happy place.
Gimme' a head's up on the two day tour for next year, please. I'd like to make it a trifecta.
Here you go Craig
Craig - that would match up perfectly with the MX5 (Miata) stainless steel roll bar.

Off thread question (sorry): What brand and model is the windscreen in the pic below? This pic is one of the cars on the CA tour.
I thought it was made by L'Oréal.
....but the Miata double hoops are 3" outboard of the actual speedster set centers.
I included all of your photos and let Apple AI take care of editing.

I'm thinking I should have taken the time off and towed the car up to Terry's again. That looks like a heluva nice weekend.
That is so cool Ryan. Thanks for doing this. If you come up to lake be sure and let me know. I have the boat in the Lake until 10/1. Likewise the rest of y'all.
Thanks for sharing that cool video, Ryan!

Thanks Terry.
Greg, I already have a CMC std roll bar but took it out because it interfered with moving the drivers seat back all the way. I want to get it modified so it slopes backward a little more, ~1 1/2". On my "will never get to it" list.
Great job, Ryan!
I posted the above video on Facebook and got the following response from one of my friends who used to own a 356c:
I had a 356c until about 10 years ago. I wouldn't even think about taking up to Tahoe. The altitude(carbs), the hills(brakes) and the torque(hills) might be a bit sketchy. Good choice on the daily-driver version.
Fun to know that we can have more fun in our speedsters than some originals.
