I'll take the CMC rear deck lid hinges for $15.  

 

Ha - I bought the EMPI carbs from Alan and it took my check 32 days to get there.  That's NW FL to PA! I used a USPS car stamp with a GTO on it - the backup check I sent only took 4 days with a Chevelle 396 SS on it. 

That's why Pontiac went belly-up, too slow.

Alan, I'm interested in the 4 1/2 x 15 new chrome wheel. I used 35lbs. to get USPS and UPS shipping costs to Calif. 95204, and was scared right out of my chair, shipping costs 4X the wheels selling price.  Any ideas on freight?  Thanks,  Art

You might think of having heavy items shipped Grayhound. 

 

      No door to door sevice...Item(s) have to be delivered and picked up at a Grayhound bus terminal... There's no muy pronto FedEx expectations because items 'stagger' across country from terminal to terminal !!! Maximum weight is 100lbs.

 

      I purchased four Centerlines from California with the understanding that seller would ship via Grayhound. He was familiar with the ground rules and although total weight was far less than 100lbs he shipped them in two separate boxes since bulky-ass packages tend to linger in transiting terminals on route!

      I had a hardtop for the speedster shipped Grayhound from the west coast. Although light in weight it was bulky, took up a lot of space... and took a looong time to finally arrive in Connecticut.

Long time in transit from place to place, huh?  Well, that's not surprising......

 

It takes a lot of work to get those dogs to work together to pull something from depot to depot.  

 

And a lot of dog treats, too........

Carl, years ago, between undergraduate work and graduate studies, I shipped a buddies books from Calif. to University of Texas, Austin, via Greyhound.  It was ugly on both ends. Perhaps systems have changed, but for me to put this on Alan's back for a $45.00 wheel??? Maybe I'll find away to Kirk's place, and get one from him, four hours south of me.  Thanks !

NO change at Greyhound - just sent two seats from northern VA to CT right up the east coast. I think they took about 10 days - were lost a couple of times - ended up going to Utah across the country and then back east. Greyhound did not seem to care much and misquoted the price over the phone. I should have just sent it UPS.

I don't know what 'dialog' means. I do know I've got a strong 'want' on those complete tail-light assemblies.

 

Want, verging on 'need.' the ones I have right now are on the ragged edge of being ... uh ... useless.
