wow.
550 spyders, lightweight street driven 911s, a silver eb110 and a sand colored veyron bugattis, stunningly expensive high maintenance cars in all shapes and sizes, $8 hot dogs, great racing, terrific views of impossibly beautiful cars near the bottom of the corkscrew,
sonically superb ear splitting sounds near the start/finish line,
perfect weather, outstanding drivers telling terrific tales,
great displays, soothing smoothies, and the biggest wow of all:
chuck beck and his 904.
the only downside was the lack of stunningly expensive and/or impossibly beautiful women to watch and/or converse with.
no dear, i don't recall how that mazda ledyard holder and earplugs became attached around my neck, and i really don't know why i should smell so good after 5 hours in the dirt. it must be something new in the av gas.
thank god for my excellent, extremely understanding wife.
