It 'sounds' like you need to take a trip to a good muffler shop.
I dumped the monza exhaust for reasons of better performance and the interim result was more exhaust sound, competing with my stereo. The monza was the easiest on my ears in matters stereo!

I added two more speakers and it wasn't enough really as I had again modified the exhaust for performance reasons and this time out, had a really sweet (menacing) exhaust note which I believe another club member is wrasslin' with today!

I went back to the stereo shop and again added oomph to the stereo (two more speakers mounted in an old suitcase which rides with me permanently and replaced the original two with larger units) in anticipation of yet more engine/exhaust competion.

I think I now have the 'balance' I was seeking. The engine is a bit demonic into the upper r-r-r-r-r's, but for cruisin' the stereo is all it should be...folks don't know what just rolled up when they hear the pipe organ entro from Phantom of the Opera!
Paul,

It was surreal when you were following Rick and myself when we pulled out of JPS after depositing my broken hearted Speedy right before Knotts. Rick and I pulled up to a stop light in the questionable neighborhood south of JPS when I heard this soprano singing that signature song from the "Phantom". I was flipped out before I realized it was coming from your tub. What a nice touch on a disasterous for me, thanks.
