I used a 1961 beetle front marker/turn signal light fixture.

I painted a clear lens with candy apple red urethane. and mounted it rear dead center as close to the top as I could.

I had to be carful because when you raise the lid it could touch. Don't mount it lower.

It's looks period correct and is very visable
