Today is Wednesday, January 20. This is just a "heads up".... I just spoke with the host hotel in Morro and they tell me they only have 15 rooms left for our group. If you are coming you should call them immediately and get booked. The number is at the beginning of this thread.

As Jim says..... I'm just saying -----

Happy Trails,
Dusty and the LMS
Eddy,
I am glad you have your room booked. Listen up, Folks. If you want a room at the host hotel I suggest you get it booked pretty fast as they are going to run out soon.

If you are planning on coming to the Saturday banquet please send in your check ASAP. There will be NO tickets at the door!

Warren,
Great idea. I only wish it had come up months ago as I was having meetings with people. I would love to see the planes and the museum. I see no reason why we couldn't do it for those who are interested. AFTER lunch we could split up to Villicana Winery for their tour OR to the aircraft museum. That would eliminate the great photo op at the summit by 101 & 46 that Jim had planned with the group being split, however.

Jim & Ginny are leading the tour to the wineries and lunch so we need someone to lead the trip from lunch to the museum (Warren is already leading Sunday's tour) ---Let's hear from a volunteer. No one should lead more than one tour. This is a vacation weekend for everyone!

If we go forward with this I really need everyone's cooperation in signing in ASAP so we have a count for each stop. I will need to give a count to the museum and to Villicana Winery. We have to be fair to the folks who will be our hosts. They need to know well in advance to make their own preparations. (whichever tour you go on plan to get back to the hotel by 5pm. Most start to gather for the Banquet about 5:45pm)

Just to update everyone ... I have the name badges in hand, the parking reserved, the restaurants reserved and the wineries on standby. The hotel has a few rooms left for our special rate. Make your plans to attend NOW! Don't miss out on the fun. (East Coasters, are you listening???)

Happy Trails,
Dusty and the LMS
OK Alice and are all set for Morro Bay having just made our reservation at the Blue Sail Inn. The rooms definitelt are goping fast and we were lucky to get a room with a "partial" ocean view.

We are arriving a day early,Thursday 4/22 to relax and unwind after a long 3 day drive and I am still hopeful that the "Caravan to Morro Bay" will have more than just my Speedster for this trip.

Also mailed the banquet $$ to Dusty today.

We are planning to be in L. A. a couple of days after Morro Bay so maybe there will be a group traveling together that way after the Sunday events.

Looking forward to seeing you "left coasters" as well as a few easterners who are flying in.
Dusty and I discussed the Museum trip on the phone and we both agreed it was a great idea. The problem is, there may not be enough time to give the Museum it's justice. I've been there and there is a lot to see. I will work with Dusty and Howard and we will try to get it scheduled for next year. If anyone is still interested in the San Antonio Lake trip in March or the Museum car show in May, let me know and I will get a flyer to you.

Warren
