Not sure if this is the right forum - or if it belongs in classified.

Is there any interest in maybe listing 356/speedster stuff you don't want, but willing to bring to Morro Bay to sell or swap?

For example, I have an extra bra (has never been on the car), an extra piece of faux "vintage" luggage, and even a ski rack arrangement with some old refinished skis with bamboo poles.

Meanwhile, there are probably a dozen things that I'd maybe like to get ahold of - "PORSCHE" emblems, headlight grilles, nipple hub caps, speedster seats, etc.

Any interest here, or should I just stuff a couple of the things I have in brown bags for Saturday night?

Best regards,
Cal

PS I know it's hard to believe, but Oklahoma is NOT a Mecca for 356/speedster accessories, parts, etc.

Vince, my initial query was probably unclear and I wholeheartedly agree with your obvious concern - certainly not suggesting there be a "swap meet" or anything like that during the function. Only wanted to take advantage of a huge (by my standards) gathering of speedster folks. You guys on the coasts are really lucky to have access to each other, resources, etc., without too much hassle. For those of us in the "sticks", it's not so easy.

Jim, I'll try to take some pictures of the skis and poles this weeked.

Best regards,
Cal

Okay, also looking for a surfboard to bring back. Don't need anything perfect, but also don't want chunks missing out of it either. Just going for the "double take" value of folks seeing something like that riding down the road in Oklahoma.

Cal

PS Reminder to all and to reinforce Vince's initial comment. This isn't a swap meet. If I can organize something beforehand, great. If not, no problem. By the way, what does a "pierced" nipple hub cap look like?
Dave, same apology about the pictures - can't remember how to fix it at the moment.... Cases are NOT real luggage and the stickers are paper. Bought them from an interior decorator place. I'd be afraid to see what would happen in a downpour! Not sure which one I want to keep at this point. Is this too "Jed Clampett"?
Best regards,
Cal
