Arrive and check-in
12:30 pm - drive to Cambria for lunch at Moonstone Beach Inn & shopping in

4:30 pm - back to Morro Bay & relax at hotel. Greet late arrivals
6:30 pm - dinner at Great American Fish Company (order and pay individually)

SATURDAY [April 24]
9:30 - drive back country roads to wineries
1) tour & tasting at Jada Vineyard ( http://www.jadavineyard.com )
2) Lunch, tour & tasting at Justin Vineyard ( http://www.Justinwine.com )
3) tour & tasting at Villicana Winery ( http://www.villicanawinery.com )
4) return to Morro Bay with panoramic photo op at summit point

NOTE: Lunch is paid individually. Wine tastings are $5-$15, tours are free
5:00 pm - return to hotel, socialize at pubs
6:30 pm - Dinner at Embarcadero Grill (upstairs) - ($31.25 includes shrimp
cocktail, salad, chicken buffet, barbeque, dessert and gratuity - cash bar)

8:00pm - Brown Bag Gift Exchange (explanation below)

9:30 am - breakfast at the Hungry Fisherman ( 399 Beach St)

11:00am - tour to famous Madonna Inn. Lunch in private room

BROWN BAG GIFT EXCHANGE - bring a car oriented gift (model, cap, book, tool, polish supplies, etc) worth $15 or more. Put it in a sealed BROWN paper bag. You will be given a drawing ticket in exchange for your gift. As your number is drawn you get choice of any bag but your own. Should be a lot of fun!! DO NOT mark with your name! This is an anonymous fun exchange.

BADGES - When you arrive the Lovely Miss Sharon will give each of you a badge to identify you as part of our group. The badges will have YOUR NAME to help those of us with �poor memories�! We plan to link up as we travel accross the country. Hoss--you did a West Coast trip in a Vintage a few years ago so I know you can do it in a SAS. Maybe they have never sen a SAS out West except for Jim who saw 'em at Carlisle. This can be a great time and a lot of fun plus
some safety in numbers as we head out to the land of fruits and nuts.


My son, Russ will drive with me so we'll have at least one good mechanic--two if you add Mickey. Alice and Russ' wife are flying out and meeting us there for the events.

We'll pick a route to make it the easiest for all traveling and enjoy
the stops together along the way at the end of each day's travel.

Jack, my trip to Knotts in 2005 was in the SASter so I got some good exposure on the trip. Currently, I don't see Morrow 2010 in my life plan as much as might enjoy doing it.

Have they removed that damn rock in the bay that blocks the view of the sunset?

The Chamber of Commerce promised me they would make the rock smaller the day you paint your car lime green.

Good job Jim on the video. Too bad you couldn't put names on the pictures of our east coast friends. It does look all had a good time and I loved the music.

Good idea, I will try to edit the Carlisle video to include names. I have to figure out how to to it without screwing up the video or without having to do it all over again. Glad everyone enjoys the videos.

I imagine that these videos would probably be boring to non-SOC folks but each time I watch these clips it reminds me of the good times I have with my SOC buds!

The video was great El Guapo! Laughed my buns off at the car loading section (the vacuum cleaner and ironing board were an especially nice touch!).

Well, ya know, I have more than enough FF miles to make this trip and not get too much out of pocket. I would thoroughly enjoy the extravaganza, except for one teeny-tiny thing: I ain't drivin' cross country and back to do it. So no car to drive around in and show off, so I need a ride. If I can get that part squared away, then I guess I'll work on getting there. Hey Dusty: can you pack the Ferrari on the trailer too? That way I can have a nice ride.
