Morro Bay EVENTS SCHEDULE

The following is the schedule of events for our Spring Fling in Morro Bay. There will be an information sheet given out as you register at the Blue Sail Inn and the Tour Leaders for each day will provide each driver with a map for that day's trip. Be sure to get your Event Badge with your name from Sharon when you arrive.

FRIDAY [April 23]

12:30 pm - drive to Cambria for lunch at Robin

I plan on having my infamous "Best Poker hand" on Friday starting at the Topanga Ranch Motel with the first card...cards will be drawn at various stops along the way to Morro Bay..I have a few prizes for the best hand...Boys get blue cards, Girls get red cards......
If all goes well, I will start another on the Saturday wine run...

Can't wait!

This is typical... I finally get everything ready for Morro and they close my freaking Call Center... 44 folks out of work including yours truly... DAMN 2 years in a row I miss out here.. Well I might have a way back in with this employer but i am going to have to wait and see what opens up here... I'd like to because Solar is pretty cool right now.. any how whatever... I am hoping for the best here...

David, what do you mean "miss out" if your not working, it means you have more time....you gotta come to Morro...

This schedule is pretty much locked in. Print out your copy or ask for a schedule at the check-in desk at the hotel in Morro Bay.

Speedster D, we probably won't miss you too much but we will surely notice the lack of the glowing smile from your lovely wife, Lili. Try to make it.

BUMMER! just found out that my car will not be ready for this weekends run to Morro Bay. Mechanic couldn't get my engine back together in time for me to break in engine. If anyone needs 1 dinner ticket, let me know, otherwise I hope everyone has a fun and safe run!

nothing against hangin out with everyone, but its just not the same without driving a speedster. Mechanic says he can get it together by thursday but I would like to put in a few hundred miles on it and work out any kinks before taking it on a long run. Just gonna have to wait till the next run. it's just the beginning of the cruisin' season anyway

Isn't Morro Bay like . . . . "a few hundred miles"? What did you have in mind, driving it around the block for a week?

Just kidding, I know your feeling. I wouldn't drive any farther than I was willing to walk home from -- for a year! But then again, the builder was me, with an established track record of reasons to be concerned.

Ask your builder if he has any confidence in his work lasting a whole weekend. At least if he has enough confidence to sport for a flatbed ride home if he is wrong.
