Dean Tribute engine details nearly complete, but it’s really close. Factory 1955 Porsche 1500 Super on top and our motor on the bottom.

Not exact obviously, but pretty close in spirit.

 I bought a black coil from F.A.S.T. and dressed it up with a $6 sticker from eBay.

Iirc, Gene Berg sells an alternator stand that allows the use of a 356/912 oil filler on a Type I engine. I opted for an angled aluminum one from CB because it fit with my PCV scheme and it wasn't $500+the adapter. Then I found my spare one in my 912 parts.

Not so much of a "thing" on a Spyder, because it's well hidden.

Here’s mine. But my Vintage Speedster gets driven more frequently. Heading to a car parade this weekend, the 912 is staying home

@BADSPD - Stephen nice ‘Z’ plate. I have since replaced my black plate frame with the original Bill Yates San Clemente dealer frame.

@Speedster Dreams cool website!

I need stickers, but my engine is getting a little long in the tooth. It needs a rebuild.
