Ok folks, we have a name for our Ashevile, NC get together in September. As a refresher, the particulars are:

Lodging 9 and 10 September at the Hilton Biltmore Park for $148/night. Dates before and after can be added for those extending their visits.

Itinerary:
I will arrive Wednesday, 7 SEP, to spend some time with my in-laws.

Friday, 9 SEP, tour BMW manufacturing plant in Greer, SC (about 1hr south of Asheville). Dinner Friday at The Bavarian Restaurant & Biergarten at 6:30 PM. Please let Aaron know your dinner selections in advance.

Saturday, 10 SEP, cruise on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Details TBD. Probably have late lunch at the Pisgah Inn on the Parkway.
Dinner at Travinia's across from the Hilton - time TBD

Sunday, 11 SEP, meet at the Biltmore before it opens for photos in front of the mansion, then park cars at front of mansion lawn with mansion in background while we tour the facility. Lunch at the restaurant next to the winery. After the Biltmore some will head home while others do more activities in the area. I will stick around until Monday and drive back then.

Appetizer: (we will share one)
Sausage sampler with potato pancakes

Dinner Selection:
Sauerbraten
Roasted Beef marinated in Wine Vinegar & Spices for 10 days. Served with Spitzle, Vienna Salad,
German Bread & Herb Butter.

Alpine Kreuter Butter Steak (Marinated Herbs)
Pan-fried in Herbs and Special Spices. It's Sooooooooo GOOOOD! Mashed Potato, Vienna Salad,
German Bread & Herb Butter.

A bottle of Riesling, and a few laughs as well please.

I'm working hard to get her to join us, guys. After one scare than almost derailed a vacation in Maine a few years back, she is very reluctant for us both to be out of town during hurricane season. We had to come back from Maine to get the dogs from the kennel as they were being told to evacuate. By the time we got back to Charleston, the hurricane had changed course and missed it completely. We wound up flying back up to Maine to complete the trip, but it was a major PITA.

She really does exist folks. She's just kinda shy. Ask Gordon and Kathy.

Better believe that I would love it!

I can't even think that they would be interested in me especially after supplying firearms to the Mexican cartels with the regime's blessing.

I do have a quart fruit jar full of Cock County Tennessee blockade that is at least 10 years old. Have to have a gun to drink it. I'll hold the gun on yusins while you sup and then yusins hold it on me so I'll be able to sup.

Lane/Aaron, I have made reservations for Diane and I at the Hilton for Sep 9 and 10. We will be attending in the SAS Creme Brule Coupe.

Since we pass through Greer, SC on the way up, we would like to join the group on Friday at the BMW Assembly Plant. Is this a problem? What time is the tour?

We would like two Jaeger Schnitzels for the German dinner.

We look forward to visiting with all!!
