Looks like we are booked and then some. I have requested 5 more rooms on an as-needed basis.

No-go on the free hospitality room. They only have large banquet rooms (expensive). They also offered to upgrade one person to a suite, but that would cost an additional $100/night. Unless someone wants to do that, or we want to take up a collection, that's also a non-starter.

Gerd: We're working for a 6th SAS car to attend the MMII. Steve Prishard was at Carlisle and we hope he can make this run. There's a 7th one up near there, Ray Meade but we're not sure he intends to attend.

Sorry Charlie (Vince) There have been 23 SAS cars put on the road since 2004. That's all ten fingers, ten toes, 2 ears and your nose. When the next five in progress hit the road get Gerd to help you count.

BMW Tour update: Tour reservations can only be made 30 days in advance. I have it on my calendar to call first thing on Tuesday, August 9th. I'll shoot for 2 PM. I think the tour is 90 minutes long.

Do we have to make reservations for the BMW plant individually? Hey Vince, represent this. And come to our event too. If not the one in September, come to Carlisle. And you can bring Gerd too. Looking forward to seeing you there in May 2012.

I am setting up a GROUP tour. I will need to give them a rough idea of the # of people. Our local PCA took the tour 7-9 years ago.

Folks, the price on our block of rooms is good through the 24th (one week from this Sunday), after which the remaining rooms get released and the price goes up. If you are considering coming, but have yet to decide or reserve your rooms, do so quickly.

Tom, for the rough idea of head count for the plant tour, tell them ~15-20. Some folks will be arriving later on Friday.

It sounds like we have booked about 13 rooms, perhaps a couple more if folks haven't posted. That's double last year.

We're a few days from the remaining rooms being released, so I believe we have our attendees unless we have a couple of stragglers. Looks like we have our major itinerary lined up, so we can relax, prep the cars if needed, and look forward to a little group MADNESS!!! BWAH HAH HAH HAAAAAAA........
