Plant is approx 70 miles from Asheville.
Tour begins at 2:15 PM, and we need to arrive 15-30 minutes early.

I suggest we start out (from Asheville) @ noon, or perhaps 11:30 AM, and allow for a fast food break along the way.

Lane is to inform us of the starting point (Hilton) ?????
I don't have a firm list for each day, so I will post what I believe to be true and hope folks will chime in with corrections.

Lane Anderson - Probably solo as Pam has some family duties to take care of
Tom Raymond - Solo?
John and Sarah Hallstrand
Aaron White - Solo?
Clint and Beth Owings - Not sure about Friday for them
Jack and Alice Crosby
Richard and Becky Pascale
Nolan and Jan Scott
Felix Bircher - Not sure if solo or not
Charles and Diane Gardner - Not sure about Friday for them
Leon Chupp - Solo?
Scott and Christine Teele
Mike and Heather Lemper - Won't make the BMW tour, but will be there for dinner

Jack, didn't you say Russ might be coming?

Karyn and Kevin Smith have expressed interest, but I haven't gotten a confirmation of their attendance.

Anybody else?
I googled BMW Plant in Greer, SC. Is this the place?

Greenville's BMW Zentrum is the company's Visitor Center showcasing BMW's tradition of engineering, innovation, & commitment to social responsibility. Zentrum is the starting point for tours of the BMW factory. Open Mon-Fri 9:30am-5:30pm. For tour info, 1-888-TOUR-BMW.

Lane---Russ wanted to attend but has major work issues demanding his attention. He is the top IT guy with BB&T Bank and respopinsible for everything. They are coming into a extra busy season so he's stuck there.

Alice and I will drive the Speedster over to Wilson, NC to visit Russ, Brenda and the grandkid---I wouldn't get that cloose to Wilson and miss seeing them!

See ya soon!
Drive all day yesterday on the BRP. The southern section has better views than the north and is at a higher elevations. Pisgah Inn is a about a 12 mile run from the hotel (coffee stop with a late lunch upon return trip). Note than fuel stops a far and few between fill your tank before departure. We will pass Pisgah Inn (see above) and return after obtaining 6033 feet...the highest point on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The Bavarian is German as I could find. The smoked sausages are etc. is home-made by Doc. These are sampled at the bar. All beer is German. As Doc says..."Why go to a German Restaurant and NOT eat German food!!!" The owner does not recommend the American steak. Photos later of the interior later.

The cafe offers wild game also. Bison, wild boar, rabbit, etc. when he is able to get the game. the wild beast fest is $32.95/person. The reason we are ordering in advance is that we would eating later.

Please send your German dinner orders direct to me via email using the address on site.

The Pisgha Inn can NOT take reservations at the restaurant per Park regulations. We can be walk-ins, but if I call about and hour before arrival they can make "Special Arrangements". Breakfast is over at 10:30, lunch is from 11;00 till 4:00. Also, coffee and "stuff" is available at the Country Store. The Park people have removed fuel services off the Parkway.
