I've done a search and there really isn't much. And many of the pictures are not available. Any recommendations? Does anyone just drill a hole in the bumper? Is there mounting hardware? Would love to see some pics.

If you have room between the bumper and the body, these are really nice. I ordered them from CIP1. For $50.00/pair, I am impressed with the quality. They are heavy and solid with a really good chrome finish. (My picture is grainy from zooming and cropping)

Here's what I did. The mounts are custom, mounted directly to the body, and made of stainless steel. There are two plastic wedge washers on the base stem to help aim them (left/right/up/down). The bugs are a constant....
The only issue I can think of with a fiberglass bumper is that the light will jiggle a bit from vibration when underway. Not a lot, but enough for OCD me to not like it. That's why I made those shake-proof body mounts. Those arms that mount to the bumper brackets are pretty stable, too.

They are nice. The clamp system attaching them to the bumper bracket does require checking occasionally as they have a habit of loosening up over time. Vibration, etc. drives it.
That's a good way to do it, Gordon.
I was lucky in that Henry was able to recess my lights during the build. No vibration at all (assuming yours might a little?).
Gordon:
Nice! Are those lines adapted from plumbing fixtures? I've seen that a couple of times and it makes good sense.
Nope, mine don't vibrate at all. The mounts are 1/4" thick Stainless Steel. I had no idea how hard it is to work that stuff - it's REALLY stiff. Took a lot of heat and a whole lot of whacking with a BFH to get that 90º bend in them.
Bob: Yes. They're bathroom faucet water connections. They happen to thread right onto the stem of the light. They run under the front valence and then attach up above with a bracket and I just filled the far end with clear silicon caulk where the wires exit. Getting harder to find the braided stainless versions, but they're still out there and look great.
James. I really like those mounts. How do I know if the Marchal threads will work with those mounts. Do all fog lights use standard thread size? I'm taking about the diameter of the threaded mount.
These on the Samba mount to bumper brackets and appear a tighter/closer mount than tall one from CIP1 (so less vibration). $80. Looks like use the std fog lamp mounting bolt.
4 feet of your desired size metal strapping (bar), 4 bolts, 8 washers, and 4 locking nylon nuts. ($10) We all have primer and black paint hanging around so not adding in that cost.
Drill hole to mount light and figure positioning from bumper bracket. Bend a 90 degree in strapping, cut. Cut a length to go on the other side of bumper bracket. Mark to drill a hole above and below bumper bracket. Drill. Now make another one to match. Paint and install. Will not move or make addition holes anywhere on bumper or bumper brackets. Adustable too.....

One call to the master jedi @ IM might help Being you are from the jedi IM order
I bought a pair of those tall ones. I believe they are for a bus. I found them too heavy and sold them to a bus guy.
Stephen. Any pictures?
I don't own the car any longer but here is a quick drawing. Of course you can make the light fit right where you want it....

@feufeu maybe you can help with photos?
Got it. Looks like the bumpers would have to be removed to drill holes in the bumper bracket. Will investigate that tonight. Looks pretty straight forward. Might even be able to find a piece of metal already with a 90 degree bend at the hardware sore. I do like the idea of bolts through the bumper bracket instead of clamps on the bumper bracket. Sounds a lot more stable. Thanks
I actually clamped around the bumper bracket. So top bolt was above and, well, bottom bolt below the bracket, like a sandwich.....
Search fog light mount and you will see a post from me in 2011 asking about it. There is a photo of the same bracket that is drill in the bumper bracket. I didn't want to drill into that bracket, so just added the sandwich effect. also let you not be exact on the holes, because if you leave enough room between bolts, you can move up and down and also tilt forward or back, for the perfect fit. Key is getting the fog light hole drilled and the bend being the same place on both brackets. Best to bend then drill....

Thanks Stephen
@550 Phil The brackets have a 5/8" diameter hole in them. The hole is conical shaped with a spherical washer that can be used underneath to allow adjustment of your lights. Most lights have a spherical mount that will fit into the opening on the bracket and swivel for adjustment. Hope this helps.

Looked at my front end last night. My car is a water cooled IM. There is a bracket with a horizontal bar way down low that protects the radiator. The bracket for the front fender arises from the radiator bracket and is very steep, almost vertical. I do not have the conventional horizontal fender bracket. None of the available fog light mounts will work with my car. Gordon's custom mount would work but I'll have to remove the fender. I think its time to call master Jedi Henry.
Marty's lights inspired the powder coat. I'm just hoping Henry has a fog light mounting kit he can send me. But I think a modification of Stephen's mount will work. Waiting for west coast time to give Henry a call. Should I call Henry's cell? Or is there a better #?
Marty's fog lights.

Call his cell after 10am or late afternoon I find those are the best times to reach him .
Those are pretty cool looking Phil Henry uses the same mounting technique on cars as they evolve so he should be able to sell you some Ray
